I am pleased to inform you that on June 16, 2006, Phoenix Software International, Inc. (PSI) acquired from Scan-Optics, LLC (SO) the software product lines commonly known as Image EMC++, KeyEntry III, VistaCapture and DocWise. Effective July 16, 2006, with SO's continued assistance, PSI's wholly owned division, Viking Software Solutions (VSS), shall be assuming the responsibility of providing support for these products.
PSI and VSS have been providing reliable data entry and Imaging products and services for more than 27 years on the z/OS, VSE/ESA, CMS, Windows, DOS and UNIX platforms. Our Data/Entry product lines currently include: Falcon, Falcon/32, VDE, Entrypoint, LifeWorks, Key/101 (formerly Key/Master) and now KeyEntry III. Our Imaging product lines currently include: VDE + Images, ImagEntry and now EMC++, VistaCapture and DocWise. We are looking forward to continuing the product development and the support and maintenance of the transferred product lines. SO will continue to provide all technical support until July 15, 2006 and beginning July 16, 2006 our VSS staff shall assume full responsibility for the support and maintenance of the products. In addition to normal product support and maintenance, we plan to improve the VistaCapture and EMC++ products by making them more flexible and easier to use. We welcome any input you have in this area.
We have no plans to change the pricing structure that is currently in place for any of the products. Our goal is to assume responsibility of the maintenance and support of the software products in the most seamless manner possible. Please rest assured that both companies will assist you in getting support regardless of which of the two that you call.
