CONDOR's FTP Server

The Phoenix FTP Server feature, available as an optional component for CONDOR, FALCON, and CYGNET, allows you to use an FTP client program to upload and download data. This means you can use your PC and LAN to establish a high-speed TCP/IP connection to your mainframe system and then access mainframe files from the PC, or you can transfer files from the PC to the mainframe.

You can access all the mainframe files you need to help you get your job done: z/VSE libraries, CAMLIBs, and even the VSE/POWER queues. On z/OS systems you can access partitioned data sets (PDSs), and JES spool files. All you need is an Internet browser (Netscape Navigator/Communicator or Microsoft Internet Explorer, for example), or the command-line FTP program that comes with Windows or OS/2, and you can view files and members, upload members, and download members quickly and easily.
